Designed for DRD Fleet Leasing, one of Turkey’s leading mobility companies, this headquarters project reimagines the contemporary workplace as a flexible, socially driven environment. Developed in response to the company’s rapid growth, the scheme prioritises adaptability, collaboration and employee wellbeing over conventional office planning.

The design shifts the balance from fixed workstations towards a range of shared and social spaces, encouraging movement, interaction and informal exchange across teams. Working areas are conceived as multi-functional zones, allowing spaces to be reconfigured as needs evolve while maintaining spatial efficiency.

A key aspect of the project is its integration of bespoke furniture systems, developed through an extensive research and development process. These elements support a non-hierarchical, fluid workplace, freeing users from assigned desks and promoting a more dynamic and holistic working environment.

Environmental performance is addressed through smart building technologies that regulate lighting and mechanical systems based on occupancy, improving energy efficiency while enhancing acoustic and thermal comfort. The office is further supported by the building’s use of geothermal systems.

Social and cultural layers are embedded throughout, including shared amenities, contemplative spaces and a curated selection of artworks, transforming the workplace into a more engaging and inclusive setting.

The result is a cohesive and forward-looking office environment that fosters productivity, interaction and a strong sense of collective identity.
